  1. let us remember that Mackenzie took part in the absolute failure and debacle last year when they left Afghanistan. Thousands of US citizens are still stranded or missing in Afghanistan to this day! US service personnel needlessly died when the Taliban stormed the airport during the botched withdrawal!

  2. there is another sliver of land similar to this in Washington State near Vancouver that i visited as a boy. it is, like, a small peninsular or some such in the vicinity of Seattle/Vancouver. and as a boy, it was very hard for me to understand why the U.S. gave up a huge chunk of Vancouver Island in exchange for this small slip of land. dah well...not that i care...and to be clear, i am still not educated on the history years later. but a fascinating historical dealio nonetheless
