@HeyGrouch no, not at all. Jesus said that to his disciples at that particular moment. Jesus goes on to say, in what Christians know as, âThe Great Commissionâ, to make disciples of all the world then he ascended into heaven at the end of the gospels and at the beginning of the book of Acts. You do not even need to be a Christian to understand that it was not a contradiction in any way for those disciples to write about Jesus. Considering that Jesus told them not to tell at that particular moment to protect himself and for whatever other reasons, saying that, it is not yet my appointed time. All along all throughout the gospels, he is also preaching to people to spread the good news of the salvation of the Messiah. So while many unbelievers say it a contradiction or something silly like that, it is also true that it is very common human idea to ask someone to hold a secret until the ârevealâ time comes. So thatâs more or less what Jesus was doing.

one of my questions is: have all 100k pages of the Daozang been translated into English? I mean⌠Iâm not going to read any of it. or maybe a little bit. But just wondering out of morbid curiosity.

i loved my hunting dog and I took care of him âtil he died. Fed him, cleaned him et cetera. And I would not touch or go near a vile, disease ridden, feral stray dog either. nope nope nope. So yah, dogs ARE filthy animals. They are bit less filthy when we humans keep them as pets and take them to vet and wash them use the pooper scooper.

bull crap congress is âreligiousâ đ. big big difference between saying you are religious to lie to and to placate the constituents versus actually practicing the rites of your religion. Oh sure, some are genuine. I do not know which ones. Most are just faking it for votes. Same ole ridiculousness different day

growing up in a âSouthern Baptistâ church we were always taught that the Samaritans in the Bible were like, mixed families of Jews and Gentiles that had retained Jewish religion, and because they were not not âpure bloodâ Jews, that was the reason why ancient Jews were racist against them. I dunno how accurate that is but this video is fascinating. Anyways, the teaching was always taught alongside the parable of the Good Samaritan where Jesus told the story of the Good Samaritan being merciful to the mugged and beaten man while others ignored him and walked by and continued on. Thereby, the parableâs and Jesusâs illustration of how we as Christians should act towards all strangers or even people we do not agree with religiously and philosophically.

all those poor fools wearing masks, both inside and outside. I both pity them and laugh at them. And obviously, the same sort of fools still exist even in 2023 with all the other religions too. Quite simulataneously sad and hilarious. Especially sad when I go to my mom and dadâs Christian church and see a few âchristianâ people still âmarriedâ to the lie of the covcoof mask.

âwhat dreams may comeâ was a fantastic, poignant movie. And some of the stuff he described reminded me of it. I know l know, What Dreams May Come is based on Danteâs Divine Comedy hell, if memory serves or I had thought it was. But the narratorâs descriptions still reminded me of it.

11:15; i think plausible that ancient Jerusalem would have had some non Jews living there too. Maybe they were the ones living down the street from the Temple and eating pigs.

oh. I thought it was only one lost tribe in ancient times- âlost tribe of Danâ. But then also I had thought that they eventually all became lost in the diaspora and the dark ages/middle ages. Just stuff I had sort of heard or learned over the years and it seems, lol, I was taught incorrectly because those who taught me were seemingly also taught incorrectly.

does he always talk that fast? jeez slow down dude. I gotta pause or rewind too much. Lol first video I ever watched of this channel.

i dunno about historically but the Bible definitely talks about âGodlessâ peoples and certainly other religions speak of âreligionlessâ peoples and such. But yes it would be super interesting to find out any historical documentation on it going back to ancient times.

hey thatâs interesting i never knew that

love me some pig! One small minor advantage, I might opine, of being a natural born Jesus loving gentileđ

i think itâs more a Greek concept than a Christian concept. the word canon is a Greek word, as he explained. We know that historically, Greeks were writing books and had canons of books before the rise of Christianity. Because early Christianity had a major presence in the Roman empire which was heavily, heavily influence by Greek Hellenistic culture, Christians easily adopted the concept of a canon into the religion. But again the Greek word, canon, existed for Greek culture before Christianity came about in the world. So, you are incorrect. But itâs ok!!!

as a âgentileâ Christian who has always been curious about the socalled modern âMessianic Jewsâ who have converted to Christianity and recognize our true Messiah in Jesus Christ, I am now also curious if there are any âSamaritanâ Messianic Jews out there who are also totally reconciled with their Messianic Jewish brothers and sisters in Christ. Now thereâs a super, super niche area of modern Christianity to explore
