  2. absolutely. except for the arctic gyrfalcon which can fly 80mph in level flight. however, i highly doubt that arctic gyrfalcons prey on pigeons regularly. Also watching a peregrin stoop on pigeon or any bird is amazing! an explosion of feathers! just think of it: a stooping peregrine at 200mph against a level flying pigeon! the math the triangulation! the aim!! simply amazing!

  3. cultures die regardless of “ensurement”. Example, nobody intentionally stamped out the Latin language of Rome even during all the invasions of the Barbarians at the end of the Roman empire. It just… sorta… evolved or faded away or turned into something else. Yes, conquerors DO stamp out culture sometimes (Mongols ie). But human nature…. cultures just come and go or come, go, and evolve into something else, regardless. But yes I agree preserve the clicker language!

  5. i agree they are or can be terrifying especially if they are wild hogs (feral hogs- big big problem in southeastern and southwestern America!); but we domesticated them because they are delicious! or at least, if cooked right, certainly can be.
