  2. same for me too. Yes. Excellent. Yes and I still watch Tim too in the same manner. YT vids yes for sure but I was never gonna subscribe and pay anyways. In my view there is just simply too much free content for me to justify paying anyone. Michael Berry Show, Quartering, Pool, Rogan, MacroVoices, Investors’ Podcast aka We Study Billionaires, Hardcore History Dan Carlin, Clay and Buck, Chrissie Mayr, Shapiro, Crowder. On and on and on and on. Never had to pay any of it besides my monthly internet bill. I am very happy to live in this modern day and age of an “embarrasment of riches” such as this while seeking to hope to fight to preserve such freedoms and riches for the future kids too. Would much, much rather spend my money on fishing lures and pewpews. And I do!

  3. i have always hated the stream chats for exactly that reason. The deluge, the speed of comments. NO interaction. Just a bunch of chatters saying a thing and not even reading anything else at all. Again I say. GOOD FOR TIM! The market will decide!

  11. charging someone a fee that they are freely able to decide freely whether to pay to not pay does not cancel out one’s free speecheryness. That is the exact and specific idea of traditional American free market, free exchange, individual freedoms. I think you may be conflating the interaction or the theoretical crossroads between freely paid or freely not paid activities and one’s natural right to say whatever and one’s natural right to also not say whatever and also to freely not pay. One is still a free speecher if they practice each item.

Otherwise freely chat in the after show comments section or even right here, as we are doing right now. The inalienable, Constitutional, libertarian ideal of freedom to choose for or to choose against still exists in this micro specific contextual situation.

  15. well yes he still does. he is also a self stated left libertarian. As such, a free market proponent as libertarians are. So he freely decides to start charging an additional fee, and his audience, i.e., the market, or his audience as the sub-micro-market of his paying customers, freely decide whether or not they shall choose to pay or cancel. Yes! Libertarianism! Yes! Capitalism as it should be! Yes freedom! Free exchange! Free trade! Yes! Charging someone a fee that they are fee to cancel payment on at any time does not, in fact, mean that someone becomes anti free speech.
