  3. as a native Texan, it's fun to talk about, think about, and glorify the idea and our technical right to secede... however i doubt it will ever gain enough steam, unfortunately.  History shows us that although we won our independence from Mexico, within about 10 years our Texas currency was pretty much worthless and inflation was out of control... if I remember my history correctly
