  2. ummmm no. real estate has always been a form of investment. I think you may be trying to say that there is a right way and a wrong way to do it. When the financial speculators come in and bubble the market, that is the wrong way. When a company owns apartments for the long long term, it brings good return on investment and cash flow, if managed properly.
