@geocam2 k yah, and, it’s sort of like, the entire job of a soldier to literally go into harm’s way. It’s what they sign up for. Look I agree with you US generals or whatever haven’t been “thinking it through” but also, it’s the soldiers job and maybe that’s where corrupt politicians or generals exploit it. But what I was mainly saying was, harm’s way isn’t the best of phrasing choices because that’s literally what they sign on to do when they enlist or join the military, to go into harm’s way. And kill the enemy before it kills them

@billtwok6864 did you serve? i didn’t. but i know about the debacle of the afghanistan exit and 13 marines being murdered. I know about agent orange victims from Vietnam. And well, maybe a few other examples where the military definitely does not take care of their soldiers. Though I will grant, ours are probably better fed than any other soldiers of the world
