  1. if the new tundra and it’s emerging problems are any indication of toyota design and engineering department management, they absolutely will eff up the next gen taco. Which of course will make way for the cottage industry of engine swappers and fixers, which is very good and fantastic, imo. All those designers and engineers and executives that first designed and made the way for the mostly “bullet proof” long lasting t-100s, tacomas, and tundras of the 1990’s and early 00’s are all long gone and retired. Yah, them dudes who cared about quality and longevity first, before aesthetics and before luxury amenities and before stupid government mandates about mpgs and such, yah, they are all gone, unfortunately.
