  2. +Corporate Commander exactly. u said it yourself. this is a completely different situation. a person choosing whether or not to disclose their private investment holdings is a totally separate thing from your example. he is not giving investment advice. he is talking about a company. therefore, he does not have to disclose. anyone who faults him for not disclosing has little or no understanding of the distinction between individual private investment and investment advice as a profession or business

  3. +Rob Harwood precisely. u r 100% correct from that perspective and i wish not to troll or argue but hey i guess that's what the interwebs are all about, lol. i was opining on it from a different perspective. the perspective that, for someone to somehow become angry that he would not disclose is a completely ignorant mindset. just because he has a radio show or youtube show or is a journalist does not mean he should disclose his own private monetary decisions (like buying tesla stock). a journalist can very certainly remain ethical while also protecting their right to privacy. which is why my point is that- it is actually very generous of Pakman to choose to disclose private monetary decisions to his audience when he has zero obligation to. i personally would like thank him very much to choosing to disclose. good for him. and i hope his following grows exponentially.
