American that I am, I had very little previous knowledge of this British history event other than that I was aware that Churchill had served in Africa in his younger years. Very excellent story telling ability and first time one of your videos had been recommended on my “feed”. I love learning these types of histories.

hmmm ummm I am totally ignorant to what the average cost of a pint in UK is. lol. Being American and all.... beer here has gone way up with this recent spate of hyper inflation, like 20%! So I guess, a pint cost 5£? 4€? $7 USD? Just a totally ignorant guess! I am curious though.

fascinating! Plantagenets.... my aunt claims that supposedly we are related to them and that our surname is like, a minor extinct noble line somehow related to the Plantagenets. Always sounded dubious to me hahaha. I don’t even know how she came to that conclusion in her genealogical “research” of our family. Fun to think about though. How the heck one would even prove such a thing seems very very difficult even with all the dna tech.
