  2. I've not heard one good reason to sentence Markeith Lloyd to life in prison. That'd be a miscarriage of justice, an unnecessary drain of taxpayer dollars, prison resources & a slap in the face of law enforcement officers worldwide. LEO's need to know that if a dirtbag kills them, retribution will be swift & certain. Reinstate the gallows and firing squads.

Scum like this presents a good case for why this country needs to reinstate public hangings, firing squads, public beheadings & a lend/lease program for penal colonies in Siberia, Iran or North Korea. The heck w/electrocution, strap 'em to a chair in Death Valley during July & walk away, toss 'em overboard from a ship that's rounding Cape Horn or lower the rear hatch & dump 'em out of an old C-130 @ 20k'. Then invoice their family for the cost of the execution

However while yr argument makes sense to civilians, it borders on illogical as Lloyd isn't going to be incarcerated @ the local grocery store or a state college. Whatever opinion we share of that scum, the fact remains that the other inmates will constantly point out that during his apprehension, cops deliberately maimed him (👁) & that he performed a good deed by murdering an LEO.
