  3. ​​ @Khanmots I'm in the same boat. I always use genuine batteries in large power tools, but in less demanding tasks like lights the knockoff batteries seem to work well, so long as you don't put them on the fast charger.

  4. Since Milwaukee and Ryobi are the same company, the batteries are probably the same inside, which is what makes a passive adapter possible.
