  4. A local fire department has an old steam powered horse drawn fire pump from the 1800s. It's permanently listed as out of service, but it's still there.

  6. I probably wouldn't mind an all-electronic braking system, as long as it does not rely on the engine or traction battery (as that would stop working when you need the brakes most), and has a mechanical backup (such as a cable).
