And creatards.

It should be beaten into children's brains so they don't grow up to say ridiculous things like Eric and Kent Hovind. Repeated once a day in science class so they will never forget what a theory is.

@kathleenr4047 Ask them how sundials (which are calculated to work properly and remain accurate ONLY on a sphere and absolutely will NOT function properly nor remain accurate on any other shape, ESPECIALLY not a flat plane) function properly and remain accurate on the Earth if it is indeed flat. You'll get no answer.

@MetaKnight964 It's not FORCING them to do anything besides be educated and guess what? It IS a requirement in America that children go to school to get educated. You want stupid kids? That's your problem. Move to a 3rd world country where they aren't FORCED to go to school. Pretty soon, you'll be FORCING them to help you grow grain so you don't starve. Do people like yourself ever actually think first or do you just blurt out the first dipshit thing that comes to mind?

@kathleenr4047 True....

@gibbonbasher8171 I was referring to Eric Hovind but yes, Eric Dubay works just as well!

@kennybeginner4087 "Just a theory". Lmfao. It's not "just a theory" when anyone can directly observe how they are designed and anyone with intelligence can understand why they only work on a sphere when designed the way they are designed. These people are absolute idiots. It's like saying that the sky being blue is just a theory.

@MetaKnight964 I mean why not just let children make all the decisions? We gotta stop FORCING them to do things. It could be like Lord of the Flies but on a global scale. That'd be awesome wouldn't it? Idiot. Is that how you raise your children (or would if you had any)? When they tell you "I don't want to go to school!" you just say "Ok. I don't want to force you to. Just stop going. You'll be fine."?

@kennybeginner4087 Correct on both counts: either can't distinguish between reality and fiction or using words that he doesn't know what they mean. Another great point in arguing this ridiculousness is: if the generally accepted flat Earth map is true (I forget the name of it. Idiocy goes in one ear and out the other with me) and the South "pole" is a circle around us, then 2 people on opposite sides of the Earth would be facing 2 different directions. If that's true, then how can one person in New Zealand, one person in South Africa and one person in Argentina all be facing South (facing totally opposite directions) yet all be looking directly at the South Celestial Pole (or any star near it)? Before using that argument however, make sure you get them to first agree/admit that the standard flat Earth model is what they believe is true. That way, they can't worm their way out of it when you bring this point up.

@kennybeginner4087 Maybe also ask him if Germ Theory, Cell Theory, the Theory of Evolution or Atomic Theory are "just theories".

@kennybeginner4087 Or maybe he can create a model sundial that works and remains accurate on a flat Earth (like I can do with a spherical Earth model). That is, assuming that what we see with this model reflects what we see in real life. I don't understand why one of these flattards doesn't do this and win themself a Nobel Prize in science, along with the roughly $1.1 MILLION cash prize that comes along with it. Surely the $1.1 million would cover the cost of material and time needed to build a flat Earth sundial "model" (in quotes because if the model works, it shouldn't be a model anymore. It should actually work in real life.....IF the Earth is flat).

@kennybeginner4087 Yeah....it's almost pointless. I used to debate and argue them a lot. The more I did the more I realized I was wasting time when I could be doing something constructive (like actually building a highly accurate sundial). I even used to argue that they need to be shown as the idiots that they are so that children don't listen to them. The more I thought about this, the more I realized that even when I was 8 years old, I understood how 3 dimensions and mathematics work better than they do. So, if a child is unintelligent enough to believe this nonsense, there's probably no hope for them anyway. Let survival of the fittest pave the way to the future. It's worked pretty well so far...
