  3. The guy who says "Make Hitler take our guns again" has the most valid point. These morons say "Our founding fathers didn't foresee machine guns!". This is completely irrelevant even if it were true. The reason they put the Second Amendment in the Constitution is so that we can defend ourselves against all enemies, foreign and domestic, ESPECIALLY in the event that our own government becomes a tyranny. Have you idiots seen what kind of weapons the US military has? So: since the Second Amendment is in place to protect ourselves against the government should they become a tyranny, we would need weapons that can at least SOMEWHAT match what they have. Not firecrackers and snap pops. The day you do away with the Second Amendment or weaken it to the point that it no longer serves its original, intended purpose is the day that you open the door to allow your government to become a tyranny, and if you think it can't happen in the US, you need to check yourself.
