  1.  @fredbloggs5902  To be specific, the Crusades were a LONG time ago...not a present threat. Furthermore, while Catholics may have carried out terroristic acts within living memory, it was within a small, limited area....not globally like Islam. Even furthermore, Islam is VERY clear about it's laws as far as infidels are concerned. The same cannot be said for Christianity. I am atheist btw before you accuse me of being religiously biased for or against any particular religion on the basis of my personal beliefs.

I get your point but...the 11th century was a LONG time ago (not within any living person's memory or even their great, great, great, great, great grandparents), not a present concern or even close. This is somewhat equivalent to POC constantly blaming their shortcomings on events that happened centuries ago. As far as religious terrorists within living memory: while I agree Catholics wreaked havoc in Britain and it was a terrible thing, Islam wreaks havoc world wide. Not to mention Islam is very clear about it's goals, be you an extremist or not. There's a bit of difference here.

  8. The Old Testament is not what defines Christianity. The New Testament does. The Old Testament is more of a recorded history than laws to be followed. I'm an atheist btw before you accuse me of being religiously biased.
