Blacks currently under the blacks are held back. Everywhere in Africa, America, the Caribbean...pretty much everywhere. I'd be more worried about what's going on NOW over historically. I guess that would require taking responsibility for yourself though. Point your finger elsewhere.

@LL-ur4rn There's NOTHING you can't accomplish in America if you want to and if you act respectable. This means things like speaking English instead of Ebonics, not wearing your pants hanging off your ass at a job interview, not blaring "music" constantly glorifying violent crimes, not whining about someone getting shot while committing a violent crime and saying they "din do nuthin!", etc. ALL of these things which I see on a daily basis from "one particular" group of people. If you really do work hard and don't do these things, it's quite a shame that so many people act this way and give other people the impression that these are the people who represent you. You SHOULD be talking to them. And when someone like yourself DOES say something to their own people about acting this way, the people representing you this way simply start calling them a "sell-out" or some such nonsense....yet another excuse. It's ALWAYS someone else's fault. In such a racist society, how exactly did Oprah make BILLIONS? How do black athletes make HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS? How did we have a black president FOR 2 TERMS? How is there black Senators? Speakers of the House? Generals of various military branches? Congressmen/women? Astrophysicists? On and on and on I could go.

@sophieruiz-alves982 That's weird because it would seem a much more important slavery issue would be modern day slavery in other countries yet we don't hear a peep about that, not to mention America is literally THE LEAST racist place on Earth to live. @thecasualcitizen492 I would 100% agree with there being good reasoning to be highly judgmental and biased towards these things. I can't even comprehend what they expect the end result to be if they have their way. If they DID have their way and run it straight into the ground, they will have to live here too in the hell hole they created. It's like burning down your house because your child said the boogeyman is in the closet. It makes no sense to me but that's probably because, like you, I'm aware of facts and use rational, reasonable lines of thinking.

THE SINGLE MOST POVERTY-STRICKEN ZIP CODE IN AMERICA. You know what she did instead of crying, whining, blaming everyone and finger-pointing? She took responsibility for herself, did not commit violent crimes on an unheard of scale, got off her ass, got a job, acted respectable and worked hard. Did she become rich? No but there's no guarantee of that. She DID however have more opportunity than ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD. America is literally THE LEAST RACIST PLACE ON EARTH.
