  1.  @JadeRabbit-1  I could be wrong but I think his point is that if there were so many freed slaves living there in large communities back in the late 18th century, where did they go? As they seem to have picked up and left by the early 20th century. Again, I could be wrong though.

  4.  @JadeRabbit-1  I was simply pointing out that there may be no need for condescending attitudes as there's a possibility a different meaning was meant than the one you took away. Again: I COULD BE WRONG, but it's no need to get your panties in a wad and start looking for an argument like a child.
