  7.  @ajm5007  The "reason" slavery in America was "based on race" is because the Africans enslaved their own and had them already waiting at the coast. Ie: it was easy. Therefore, it had nothing to do with targeting a race, it had to do with it being easier to cheaply buy slaves from their own people than hunting them down yourself. Unless you have ant ACTUAL evidence that it was SPECIFICALLY racially targeted?

Furthermore, I'd suggest reading a recently published biography/autobiography (both because the one telling the story was illiterate so it was TECHNICALLY WRITTEN by someone else [who was also black]) of the last known slave to be brought to America across the Atlantic, called "Barracoon". It's a telling his life story in HIS OWN WORDS, beginning with EXACTLY how he ended up here (The New World). Guess who he says captured an sold him. Do you know what the title means?
