  1. It isn't that unbelievable no mistakes were made. Back then paper wasn't cheap and plentiful as it is today and further more wasn't just tree pulp paper. If I were writing a book on pages of the equivalent today of sheets of gold I'd probably be very careful myself and pay close attention to what I was doing.
