  3. This isn't even bad. Wait until something highly infectious with a medium length dormancy and a very high mortality rate spreads. Imagine something like Ebola except you don't show symptoms for 2 weeks, but once you do start showing symptoms, it still takes complete hold on your body as quickly as Ebola and has the same mortality rate as Ebola does. Guaranteed it'll happen. You can't have this high of a population and have near instantaneous global travel and expect it not to happen. I've been saying for years something like this would happen, albeit maybe not in my lifetime. Lo and behold, here we are.
