  1. I may be wrong but you sound like the kind of person who would show up at your kid's school and have a teacher fired for swatting your 7 year old child because "he's only 7". That's precisely the problem. These little fuckers can just run rampant because parents have taken away teachers' ability to reprimand them when they're young.

There's an EXTREMELY high percentage of kids acting this way compared to years ago. Then they grow up big enough to hurt you (I've seen some big-ass smart-mouthed 14 year olds). What's he supposed to do? Nothing until the kid finally attacks him and hurts him or brings a gun in and shoots him? This is AMERICA. You have a right to defend yourself from Someone acting in a manner such as this no matter how old they are.

What exactly would you do: a) if YOUR kid started acting in a manner like this when when they are 7? b) if YOU were that teacher and already have been GANG JUMPED by these students?   12. Things are to this point Not only because of how kids are raised at home but because parents have also taken away teachers' ability to reprimand kids whatsoever. What do think they're going to do? They're going to do what kids do: keep pushing it further and further and further and see how far they can push it with no consequences. To all the parents out there who want to tell a teacher "You can't touch MY kid!"...THIS IS WHAT YOU GET AND THIS IS YOUR FAULT. When I was in school my mom told the teachers in the 1st grade: "If he acts up, spank his ass."

If you SWAT the kids when they're YOUNG they will learn respect early and not keep pushing the the bar further and further because they've gotten away with everything since Day 1 and will KEEP pushing and see how far they can get...before punching them in the mouth becomes almost inevitable. I think at 14 years old swatting MAY be ineffective. What do you think with your wizard-like common sense skills?

"You can't swat MY child!" Saying things like that and filing lawsuits. No wonder when they get to be 14 they're going to act like this. They have nothing to fear from day 1 and this is constantly reinforced every day.
