  1. How about a Bio on Hugh Glass? Besides surviving the bear mauling he supposedly was captured by Jean Lafitte and was forced to be a pirate for a couple of years and supposedly was captured by a Native American tribe and lived with them for years. He WAS later killed by another native tribe. How can there not be an interesting story about a man surviving off of the land constantly in unknown territory amongst sometimes friendly and sometimes hostile natives (not even to mention the bear mauling)? For those of you who don't know, he was a frontiersman/fur trapper at the turn of the 18th century and was severely mauled by a grizzly bear and left for dead by his "friends". He then crawled 200 miles back to "civilization" and gained medical help (early 1800's medical help) from Native American tribes along the way and tracked down the guys who left him for dead.
