Tishidiv Who exactly are "you people" that you're referring to? I have seen positive documentaries about Liberia but the fact of the matter is that this stuff DID happen. Are you denying that? Or everyone should just erase history and forget this ever happened (in very recent times I might add)? I can't speak for everyone but I can think of a LOT of places in Africa where I'd feel much safer based on Liberia's recent track record. Don't get so personally butthurt about someone making a documentary about things that DID happen in your (supposed) country although I speculate that you don't actually live there. I know a Liberian woman who was more than glad to get the fuck out of there. Maybe she's full of shit? Idk. I Just know she actually LIVED there most of her life.

@melanindevine In Flint, Michigan the water was LITERALLY killing people, I've worked in quite a few government projects and the people dump their God damn trash right where they walk because they're too fucking lazy to dump it where it goes, and believe it or not there are dirt roads in America and roads that are in terrible condition because guess what? If you don't care anymore than to tear up everything you have, expect everyone else to pay to fix it when you do, shit and dump trash right where you live and expect that everyone else should pick up things behind you, nobody else is going to care either. They don't have people walking around neighborhoods picking up trash yet some neighborhoods are just disgustingly littered while others it's hard to find a paper cup because some people care about where they live, others do not.

Clyde H Goodman I can understand that. We kind of have our own issues with our own civil war. Different but similar.
