My nephew has autism, although it's very light (understanding/expressing feelings, socializing because of it) and he doesn't do these kind of hand movements but it's always heart warming to see people understanding instead of judging.

Didn't Michael suffered from a skin condition that was slowly turning his skin white and after a while, he had patches all over his body so instead of putting dark make up to "fix" them, he choose to go the other way around and bleach the little dark skin he still had because it was just more convenient ? I think that was the final story that was revealed by his doctors and family.

Probably both, he must have severe lack self esteem and confidence and has started the process for this reason but as he realized shit was expensive and people on social medias need villains to make fun of, he went about it as a meme. But his first motives still stand. To me this dude is a lost guy but he's too deep into his thing to get better, kinda sad to be honest.

For those who didn't know Ryan now streams on Twitch with otv, he's trying to build something new unrelated to his old stuff and that's why he never promoted his Twitch. Watch the otv podcast to understand why he's disgusted by YouTube. :)

  17.  @yikaii  You can fetch several endpoints even if you don't own the channel (for example videos, comments, likes and dislikes, playlists, etc...). Endpoints that involve private data and elevated privileges (uploads, content management and community moderation) are protected through a Json Web Token that you can aquire from a OAuth permission. Essentially you could make a website, make users link their Google account to your website and fetch protected API endpoints using the authorized token. It's 100% secured, that's what OAuth was designed for (by Google engineers btw). Although you don't need any of that because like I said the dislikes are not protected endpoints.
