@brunodosreis What do you think is happening when you use your private key to make a transaction ? A hash verification. We have to be careful because people think encryption is magic and they don't understand that in order to decrypt an encrypted piece of data we need the secret key on which the encryption was based. Much like a cypher in real life, if you send someone an encrypted letter without them knowing the cypher to translate the caracters how the hell are they supposed to read it ? Granted in crypto it's much different because it's decentralized but it works on the same principle.
