  1. Why would you be treated differently? As long as you respect the laws, I guarantee you that nobody gives a flying f about your existence as much as the next person's. Maybe a Karen or two who have nothing better to do, but that's it. Now on the other end, if you start justifying criminals' actions, or if you try to make it any more difficult to arrest them and to keep the streets safe, then people will call you out on it. Wouldn't they be right to think you are a PoS in this situation? That's exactly how dems are seen, for this exact reason.
