Even if your partner is "being bad" (whatever that means) you still don't go around screaming like an animal and kicking them in the back, smashing their shit on the ground, belittling them, invalidating their feelings, etc. That's just not something normal people do regardless of anything. That's a f-ing crime dawg. It's not justifiable in any way. What a normal person does when their partner is being annoying and the situation gets heated is step aside, take a moment to calm down and later on communicate about it to resolve the problem and grow from it. That's normal behavior. If you think what this guy did is "normal couple banter" I feel terribly bad for whatever environment you grew up in and I feel even worse for your partner. It's even worse considering he was a control freak, expecting her to be readily available for him all the time, accusing her of being unfaithful and doing all this shit while he was bagging his exes. How is that someone worth defending? That ain't no man, that's a waste of oxygen.
