  1. Isn't the whole point of censuring slurs is because it dehumanizes the people it targets ? If that's the case then why would you stop using the word ? I'm not a semantic debate andy who spends his day arguing for slurs on 4chan but let's be honest here I don't really see why it matters as long as you aren't saying it to a British Pakistani, since it's not derogatory. It's like the word black in Spanish speaking countries. It can be used to describe a people of black color but not in a derogatory way because that's not the intent of the word. I don't know I'm too white to be having this discussion.
