  2. Public school system failed me. I remember the exact moment I stopped understanding math in 2nd grade. Never got offered after school help or anything. In 11th grade my geometry teacher genuinely saw I had no idea what was going on even tho I was paying attention and taking notes on everything. He told me if I got one question right on the test he would pass me for the whole semester. I couldn't even do that.
