@atenthrewup8784 Actually, even in the dark ages, Europeans strived for blonde hair. Blonde hair was seen as desirable even back then, so they had ways to lighten the hair, so it is somewhat a cultural thing. Yes, there is one tribe in Africa where they are born blonde. They aren't sub Saharan African though. Black Americans are not the same ethnicity as that tribe. Black Americans are ethnically sub Saharan. It's crazy that instead of recognizing the hypocrisy, you come up with every excuse in the book. Mind blowing really, but very common. I often see other people using that same excuse rather than accepting the called out hypocrisy.

@atenthrewup8784 It does matter because you are using that small tribe as an excuse to not to accept the fact you guys are being major hypocrites. If a white woman wearing braids is cultural appropriation, then a black woman wearing European hairstyles and blue contact lenses is appropriation.

@cherripxt_ Honey corn rows and Dutch braids are essentially the same. The only difference is corn rows styles usually braid the entire head right on to the scalp. We usually do 2 big on the scalp braids rather than 10.

@atenthrewup8784 Yes... The tribe you are speaking of ... Where ppl are blonde with blue eyes... Is very small ... They are not the same ethnicity as African Americans... Africa is made up of many different ethnicities and even race.
