The mistake is to put rock stars in a team. They work alone. Almost any famous piece of software has a rock star behind it, sometimes two - probably not more than that. You all use Git, right? Any of you use Linux? What do you think of the Task Manager in Windows? One guy did that, and no one asked him to, they just didn't stop him.
