  1. Welcome to "the slide into poverty". As a city or a county or a state starts to fail the taxpayers leave. The welfare recipients stay of course, and as there are more of them than taxpayers they can vote themselves even more welfare. The burden on the remaining taxpayers goes up. So more leave. The more who leave, the higher the burden on the rest.

  2. It's got so bad now that regular solutions won't work. SF needs an official squatter camp, with meals, sanitation, medical, garbage collection and a blind eye to drugs. Anyone camping on the street gets forcibly moved there with all their gear. They can leave if they like - but the food, medical, tolerance etc are there and only there. There probably needs to be entertainment as well - maybe big screen outdoor TV.

  7. Carlson isn't being totally frank here. Postal voting helps the Dems because it increases turnout. Democrat voters are less likely to travel to vote. So Biden would get an advantage from the increased turnout, but it's a legitimate advantage. That said, fraud is also much easier.

  22. At the most fundamental level, the internet is a club. If the other members won't do business with you, no amount of building your own infrastructure will let you play. It's the same with banking. You can start a bank, but if the other banks won't trade with you, you're going nowhere. Both the internet and banks are now under enemy control. In the future, if you don't parrot woke slogans you won't be allowed a bank account so cannot have a job or a home; you will be cut out of modern society and become an unperson.

  27. No, inflation is a direct attack on the middle class. The poor have little to lose and their labor keeps its value. The rich borrow lots, buy inflation-proof assets and pay back less. The middle class have cash or near cash savings and will lose big time.

  28.  @dneal8293  I said "the poor have little to lose" and so are relatively unaffected by inflation. I didn't say it was good to be poor. The reason they don't lose out is because they don't have much to lose.
