  3. The 50% mortality is probably caused by those collars. They are far too tight and would prevent the throat from expanding when required. If it's snug when the cat is drugged and asleep then it will prevent the throat dilation required for hunting. They've got to be able to gulp massive amounts of air during a chase.

  5. I'm not convinced it was threatening the diver. It seems more like it was snapping at its own reflection in the camera.
