@David MacPhersteinbergblatt: The Libertarian Party has been infiltrated by dumb Leftists that are just trying to be something different because muh uniqueness. Even Gary Johnson is a fucking cuckoo Leftist, in all actuality.

Even minarchists and night watchman state types believe that one of the duties of the government is to protect the safety and interests of the citizens. Foreign third world immigrants disproportionately defraud, attack, rob, kill, burglarize, and generally abuse the native citizenry, so even a minarchist should agree that it's the government's duty to keep these people out of the country. To keep anyone out of anywhere, there must be a delineation i.e. a border/property line etc.

I think a person should be required to pay a certain amount of income tax back to the state, but they should be able to decide how their money is spent. Kind of like an IRA plan, where you get to chose what you're investing in. You could have basic packages based on your political views, or you could customize. This way, if you care about education the most, all of your taxes could go to education. If you care about border security the most, all of your taxes could go to border security. If you want to supply gibs for all the leeches, you could virtue signal and do that as well. It would be your choice. That way, you could feel like your taxes were going to things you support, and not going to things you're ideologically opposed to. I think this would make people much less adverse to the idea of taxation.

Property tax, inheritance tax, capital gains tax, etc.... yes. But have fun getting all the folks together to pay for road improvements and the like in a tax-free state. Have you ever been involved in a Road Association? Clusterfuck of people willfully making things complicated.

@introverts, we silently judge you: LOL, exactly.

flewjewcoop Not just foreign nationals living here, but to foreign governments for aid and military expenditures to go police other countries or meddle in their affairs/support regime changes. I'm opposed to all of that and the idea that the government is forcing me to pay them money to do those things makes me sick.

Bar Yehudai A guy with a Jewish name saying that? Lol holy fook.

Bar Yehudai Non-Jewish? Ummm...do you mean anti-Jewish? What you said was that Americans are the only ones that can magically justify theft. But considering Jews practically invented usury, and your profile name is Jewish, it seemed pretty hypocritical. If by theft you mean taxation in general, America is obviously not the only state that taxes, and Americans are obviously not the only ones that agree with some degree of taxation, so in that context your last statement is horseshit as well.

@Bar Yehudai: He's not saying theft is okay so long as Americans get the money; you're saying that. You simply contrived his sentiments to advance a false narrative. In order for him to say theft is okay (so long as the money goes to Americans), he would first have to agree that taxation is a form of theft, and then justify it's distribution based on that premise, which clearly he did not. That is your view on it, not his. As far as interest is concerned, it is just as predatory in many ways as any form of theft or taxation.
