Leftists don't care if the news is fake. If it's the narrative they want to hear, they'll conveniently believe it. The same is true of the Right, to some degree.

I always critically evaluate my positions and they're constantly evolving. That can't be said of most people. I think most people just think how others tell them to think, and believe what is comfortable to believe. The truth is almost always distasteful. I feel that a larger percentage of Leftists are becoming increasingly and disturbingly susceptible to group-thought and collectivism, because they are shifting further and further towards all-out Marxism. It's just kind of natural that they would start exhibiting more and more hive-like mentalities as they shift closer and closer to a political ideology that creates a hive-like existence for humans.

Nathan Kloss don't worry friend, I always do. I think personally that the Left has reached a point where it weaponizes its cognitive dissonance though.

Tom M if they're truly your friends, steer them away from corporate media and towards podcasts, YouTube, and other online political news outlets. Styx has based opinions, Rubin Report, Sargon, etc. There are still sane liberals out there, but not many, and most of them are actual liberals, and not Regressives. I'm a far rightist, but I appreciate Styx and others with some left leaning views for bashing the Right when they're being retarded too.

Well, I don't think it's hard to see that the Left literally needs to ignore reality in order to defend and believe in their ideology. The Right, not so much. But I think we can be ignorant of some things as well. I think we give our allegiances too easily to neocon Zio-shills, inarticulate asshats, and provocateurs.

@ SuperStrik: I agree. The Left thinks they have the moral high ground and therefore think that they can be visionaries, regardless of whether or not their ideas work (they usually don't). The Right thinks they have a better understanding of reality and just want to do what is logical and that which has proven itself to work.
