I was reading an article about Yogi Bear the other day and there was the most ridiculous postmodernist interpretation of the cartoon. It was hilarious, but also kind of made me want to slay the "animation historian," who is of course some cringe leftist ]evv (shocker). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yogi_Bear#Analysis

@DaWizard11 You're telling me. I was just looking it up because I've been showing my boys Yogi Bear and I wanted to know who did his voice. Then I come across that ]evvish nonsense. It made me want to drink myself retarded, rage puke and then go raiding.

It's true, and academia is complicit as well. You can't simply read what's in your text anymore, because it will be a postmodernist alt-universe where muh social justice is far more important than the quest for the objective truth.

There are also so many citations that go back to some cringe leftist media outlet. It's pathetic, because they don't even pretend they're using credible sources (or should). It's not like it's hard to find some "peer-reviewed journal" where the "academic" writing the "scholarly article" has the exact same opinion as the journo-activist hacks.

@solank7620 Dude, it's horrible. My IQ decreases and I die a little bit inside whenever I read something that idiotic.

@jeanburk9539 If you're interested in mind control, thought reform, and cult mentality, you should read Robert Lifton's Thought Reform and the Psychology of Totalism . It's a really interesting book. It opened my eyes to the totalist aspects of my own ideology, and also the totalist aspects of the ideology of my political opponents. I wrote my Master's thesis critically analyzing diversity ideology using Lifton's Eight Criteria for Thought Reform.

@jeanburk9539 I also did a video reading my thesis if you want to check it out. Before you do, you should know that I'm an ethnonationalist. If that triggers you, I wouldn't recommend my content. https://youtu.be/Bew0qKo3JFM
