It makes me cringe when people call Islamic fundamentalists "radicals." They are the opposite of radicals; they are fundamentalists. You never hear other religious groups called "radicals" when they are following a literalist interpretation of their religion. They are always called fundamentalists. This may seem trivial and semantic, but it's actually really powerful, and here is why: Saying a fundamentalist is a "radical" implies: 1.) that the fundamental tenets of Islam are not barbaric (or in need of reform) and 2.) that most of the Islamic world does not follow a fundamentalist interpretation of Islam. But the opposite of this is actually the truth. The true radicals within Islam are the ones who want to reform Islam, not the ones that want to regress us into 7th century thinking. Muslims believe the Quran was the last and final word of God. To challenge Islam is to challenge God. True Islamic radicals receive death threats from scores of their fellow Muslims for even suggesting the doctrine be changed.

@senselessnothing Arguing about which of them is worse is kind of pointless in my opinion. They are both toxic and both are our enemies.

@D J In my opinion, when something like this happens, it illustrates the divide between the globalist secular ]ews and Israel-Firster Zionists. Omar is on the anti-Zionist side of the Left, and many secular ]ews are as well. Of course, with ]ews there is overlap between ]udeo-Marxist globalism and Zionism: their motives and loyalties can never truly be understood or trusted.
