I see the political axis consisting of a globalist/nationalist political and economic scale, a traditionalist/leftist social scale, and an authoritarian/libertarian power scale. Myself personally, I'm a hard nationalist, a right-leaning traditionalist, and a liberty-leaning centrist on the authoritarian/libertarian scale. Politics are definitely not as simple as a left/right dichotomy, but to me, liberalized corporatist economics have led to globalism, and is therefore the enemy of nationalism if left unchecked. Social liberalism is only good to a certain extent, and then becomes cancerous and serves to degenerate a society and culture. Liberty is good, but the state cannot be so inept that it can't enforce the borders and the law and provide some services.
