Partisan is an adjective that means strongly influenced in favor of a particular cause or causes. It doesn't have to mean one side of the other or viewed in a binary context. You don't see the picture on any grander a scale than the next person. You fancy yourself a pantomath, but in reality you're just smug and self righteous...and Canadian.
