Cheney getting crushed (and the whole leftist media complex fawning over her) just further exemplifies that the Left as a whole has no real interest in delivering the democratic will of the people. At least 70% of Wyoming Republicans wanted Cheney gone, but according to the Left, all of those people are just extremists, not decent people with legitimate grievances or political worldviews. There is no sober self-reflection. When their agenda gets crushed, they never stop and think... "70 percent of Republicans voted against her? Gee...that many people can't be extremists...maybe we're just missing something here." No, that would be what a person with some humility would do. They instead just double down on the dehumanization of their opposition and tell us that we're too evil and/or stupid to know what's best for the country.
