There is a lot of ignorance surrounding this case. It's not going to make admissions race-blind. The Asian parents argued that their kids should be exempt from racial discrimination. That's it. They could have made the argument for race-blind admission, but they didn't go down that road, because they knew it would be harder, and at the end of the day, they were only concerned about their race, not some higher principle about racial discrimination. So now, the only group that will be discriminated against is White kids, which has been the case for decades now. They'll remove more qualified White students to make room for less qualified non-Asian "diversity," but they won't be removing Asians anymore. This case basically just preserved their "protected minority" status, even though 40% of the student body of Harvard is already Asian, and Asians already have far better educational and economic outcomes than Whites at this point.

This case didn't kill affirmative action. Tarl should have done a little bit of research before pretending like he understands this case/ruling. This ruling isn't going to make admissions race-blind.
