It wasn't dismissed easily. There was a two-year 30 million dollar charade of an investigation conducted. They specifically conducted an intel investigation (instead of a criminal investigation) so they could circumvent all of those pesky constitutional rights Trump and his campaign members possess. They used Clinton funded op-research as the evidentiary basis to obtain FISA warrants. They spied for months and still couldn't find anything solid enough to prove collusion. So then they pivot to obstruction. They still can't prove obstruction, despite what your mental slavemasters over at the legacy media are saying.

Evidence is all that matters and after a two-year 30 million dollar probe, Mueller didn't even find enough evidence to reach the threshold of probable cause required to indict, which is far less than the threshold required to prove guilt (beyond a reasonable doubt).

If that was the case, why didn't the FBI obtain FISA warrants based solely on that information? Why did they need the Steele dossier? When it was exposed that the FBI used the Steele dossier to obtain the warrants and it was funded by Clinton, the swamp and their media appartus pivoted to saying the investigation began with Papadopoulos running his mouth. You are doing nothing but regurgitating the media's lies. You are a mentally enslaved sheep.

@Betta66 Goldstone is a shifty tabloid journalist and "getting dirt" is not illegal, from foreign nationals or otherwise. If it were, the Clintons funding the Steele dossier would be illegal as well. No ties to the Russian government could be established by Mueller. But that doesn't matter to you, because your pathological hatred of Trump has clouded your reason. The media will try to manifest crimes despite what the report said because they're that desperate and dishonest. You're their parrot, nothing more.

@Betta66 It's true that section (g) of CFR § 110.20 states: "No person shall knowingly solicit, accept, or receive from a foreign national any contribution or donation prohibited by paragraphs (b) through (d) of this section." Section (b) states it is illegal for the foreign national. So Clinton soliciting Steele (a foreign national) and accepting his dossier was illegal under Section (g) of § 110.20. You don't seem to care very much about that, only that the Trump campaign allegedly did something similar. If it weren't for double standards, the Left would have no standards at all. Mueller clearly did not think whatever "dirt" the Trump campaign allegedly received or did not receive from Russians or the Russian government was enough to constitute collusion. Get over it. Btw, this happens all the time on both sides of the aisle. Just look at the Israel lobby, ffs. They are foreign nationals who openly lobby in this country. You want to talk about foreign nationals who "directly or indirectly, make a contribution or a donation of money or other thing of value" look no further than AIPAC. Btw...I do not support foreign powers influencing our political process, for either side. If it were up to me, there would be no foreign influence in politics, but your outrage is clearly selective based on your hatred of Trump.

The Steele dossier, funded by the Democrats, started many months before that date. Further to that point, the sworn testimony of then DOJ ADAG Bruce Ohr is that he met directly with and was personally briefed on the dossier by Christopher Steele at the Mayflower Hotel on Saturday July 30, 2016, the day before the FBI officially opened its investigation.
