@settame1 I was born in CA, and my Mom still lives there, despite my constant attempts to relocate her. For over 30 years, she has been in early childhood education. She taught at a Christian preschool for 12 years, directed that same school for another 15 years, and then mentored early childhood educators for the state for several years after that. She lives up in Sonoma country in a community that is now about 75% Hispanic due to the dominance of the agricultural (wine grape) industry around there. She is retired now and is bored, so she decided to reach out to the local preschool to ask if she could volunteer. She is 10X more qualified than any person who works there, and asked for absolutely no compensation. She just wanted to help. They refused her free services and wealth of knowledge because....she doesn't speak Spanish. This is the country we now live in.

@ootmaster1 But of course none of that shit will ever happen, so it's either we involuntarily get dragged into a communist Orc hellscape or we secede.

A complete moratorium is not even enough. All illegals should be deported immediately. All people who were born to illegals should be denaturalized and deported immediately. Citizens who hire illegals should be fined or jailed. Social security and welfare fraud should be heavily penalized. Welfare chauvinism should be federal law. But these measures are irrelevant unless the country is secured. It's damage control 101. Unless you patch the hole, you're just going to keep bailing water forever. Illegal entry and presence must be something that is extremely rare, not extremely common. Jus soli naturalization must be reversed, and heavy penalties must be enforced for willful illegal entry or presence.

I was telling a guy the other day that demographics are the key determinant of all political outcomes, and that every single nonwhite jurisdiction in the U.S. is run unilaterally by leftists. He denied this and his "proof" that minds can be changed on the macro level was a micro example of a single mayoral election (in an 80% Hispanic small border city in Texas) where a GOP candidate had won. I looked into the election, and the candidate had only won by 200 votes. And here's the other thing: he was Hispanic and the Dem was White. So this guy gave provided this example as proof that Hispanics are shifting to the GOP, what it really proved was what you said: most Hispanics, especially first and second gen Hispanics "have more allegiance to the Hispanic community than America more often than the other way around, and claim being Americanized when it's convenient." 65% of Hispanics voted for a Biden/Harris ticket just 9 months ago. In many parts of the country, over 50% of the under-18 population is Hispanic, and the 2nd/3rd gen ones are even more left-wing due to commie infiltration into American institutions. When these kids get the vote, 80% will vote left. And these are just the Hispanics that CAN vote. Give amnesty to the 10+ million illegals that are currently here, and it might be the end of conservative politics in the U.S. forever.

@ALIENDNA14 The government is compromised. All the cultural institutions are compromised. The elites are completely invested in globalism. Look around you. There is no rule of law, there is only power. Most Americans have willingly accepted that their government doesn't serve their interests first. All that said, my dismissiveness is not flippant or defeatist, it is simply accepting the reality of the situation. Envisioning change is not difficult at all, but the reality is that there is no longer a democratic solution. Only a hard reset will create the type of change we desire, because the entire world power apparatus is against us.
