  5.  @noyb154  I don't think every voter is that dumb. Most know they vote for representatives who theoretically are supposed to carry out their will. The people don't rule directly. Case in point: the Ukrainian parliament banned the OPZZh. The people didn't vote on it via referendum.

  6.  @noyb154  I'm not saying voting is pointless. I'm saying that voting for a representative to rule in your stead is not pure democracy. It is a republican system of government.
