You should look at opinion polls. You'll realize that Hispanic Americans are liberal on most issues. Size of government, gun control, abortion, homosexuality, etc. 53% of Hispanic children are born out of wedlock in the U.S. They aren't as conservative as people thing.

@GamerJay0007 Four largest cities in Texas... Houston is 44% Hispanic. They elected a Black Dem mayor and 11 of 16 council members are Dems. Dallas is 42% Hispanic. They elected a Black Dem mayor and a leftist city council that masquerades as "non-partisan." San Antonio is 63% Hispanic. They elected a leftist ]evv as their mayor and a leftist city council that masquerades as "non-partisan." Austin is 32.5 % Hispanic. They elected a leftist ]evv as their mayor and 10 of 11 city council members are Dems. tExAs iSn'T tUrNinG bLuE! tHe dEmS aRe lOsiNg tHe hiSpaNic vOTe. reeee

@edwardjmayer87 That isn't a fact at all. Lol you're literally making that up. I can get behind the notion that there are "pan-ethnic" groups in the U.S., but this is not much different from saying there are racial groups. American is not an ethnic identity though. It is a civic identity that means increasingly less and less by the day. As you stated, there is a genetic component to ethnicity. So you go ahead and do a DNA test and tell me what it says. If you're like me, it'll say you're 100% European, and it'll have absolutely zero mention of anything American. That is because ethnicity is not the same as mere culture or citizenship or country of birth.

@edwardjmayer87 How is that what you took from what I said? I'm well aware of genetic differences in European ethnic groups. That's part of what makes them ETHNIC groups. Yet here you are saying that Americans, despite being indefinable genetically, should be classified as an ethnic group. You're strawmanning my position whilst completely contradicting yourself. That is what is hilariously tragic.

@edwardjmayer87 American is not an ethnicity because the U.S. is a multiethnic state. The only places where the ethnicity is the same as the citizenship are ethnic states (or used to be).

@DvNezarto What is wrong with being German?

@CountArtha I'll believe that when they start voting for right-wing politicians and expressing right-wing viewpoints on opinion polls.

West Texas is full of cattle ranches. It is irrelevant to the political destiny of the state. Texas has turned progressively blue as its demographics have shifted. Morons like Styx are in denial of the connotation between demographics and politics.

@GamerJay0007 You're in denial and looking at things in an entirely myopic way. The Hispanics that live in West Texas and work on cattle ranches are not an accurate representation of the average Hispanic voter in Texas. They are irrelevant to the political destiny of the state. The vast majority of the Hispanics live in the largest cities, and they overwhelmingly vote for Democrats. Get real and face reality. Demographics are destiny.

BS. Styx is just like the rest of the mainstream conservative morons on the topic of demographics. They've been saying for decades that the Dems are going to lose the minority vote and it never happens. Last election, Hispanics were 65% for Dems, and that is just the ones who could vote and voted. Then you look into opinion polls and you realize why. The idea of the "socially conservative" minority is essentially a mainstream conservative canard.

@eodyn7 No, it's so they can achieve and maintain their political goals through ethno-collectivist action. Euro-Americans are the only group in which the majority still deludes themselves into believing ethno-collective action is somehow unethical. Every other group engages in ethno-collective action, and what's more, their efforts are celebrated and encouraged by mainstream culture. It's an egregious sociocultural double standard that exclusively applies to Euro-Americans, and the saddest part is that most Euro-Americans willfully comply with it. Euro-Americans have been hypnotized into believing that we are not a group that has a culture and way of life to preserve. That all groups can be just magically be assimilated and there is no consequence to us losing our demographic majority. We are sleep-walking into a demographic disaster. They will vote us into a socialist dictatorship and turn us into second class citizens.

@DvNezarto Sounds like you're a hateful bigot. Congrats.

@CountArtha Half glass full take. The flipside is that 85% of black men voted for Biden. That is practically an ethnic bloc.
