  1. We NEED illegals? Negative, we do not. The rule of law must be upheld. You could argue that we need green card holders, but that is not an illegal. If they were given visas that were tracked, we could have them here, but not with the 14th amendment currently as it is. We can't even have legal residents or migrant workers if we have unrestricted jus soli naturalization, because all they have to do is have a kid here and all of the sudden we're stuck with them for life like Herpes. No non-citizen should be entitled to social programs in this country.

  4. @Imabeatyouman: Laborers should still not enter illegally; their visas should be controlled and tracked, and they should be deported if they overstay the visa. Still, without revising the 14th amendment, having illegals or even green card holders is a huge risk and leaves us open to massive exploitation, because all they need to do is have an anchor baby. In reality, the illegal immigration situation will never be fixed until our naturalization law is reformed. India abolished their naturalization law in 2004, and their new policy requires that any person born in India is not a citizen unless at least one of their parents is an Indian citizen. They did this in response to Bangladeshi illegal immigrants entering India and having anchor babies. This is the law in several countries. It is the difference between unrestricted jus soli, restricted jus soli, and jus sanguinius naturalization law.
