LOL @ idiots calling Styx a neocon. The DPRK is an actual threat. Styx is only advocating for limited U.S. participation (no ground troops) IN A THEORETICAL CONFLICT, which is the only sane position on this. The RSK, Japan, and other Asian nations are armed to the teeth and are more than capable of handling the situation on the ground if an invasion occurs.

Did I say anything about not defending South Korea? I am only discouraging the idea of U.S. troops invading the DPRK, just as Styx is. Do you need another straw man to knock down? I might have one laying around somewhere. Your rebuttal is a logical fallacy, poorly structured, and slothfully written to boot, yet my argument is "silly?" Ok....lol

Jake Pirate if China can replace the Juche regime without war and install someone that is sane that doesn't have nuclear aspirations, I'm all for it.
9
Troll Ov Metal so, agreeing with someone=sucking their cock? Nice logical reasoning there. People that say shit like that are usually the ones with latent homoerotic tendencies, in all actuality. :)
9
@ Jake: The Chinese and Japanese hate each other, but even China seems to be warming to the idea of whacking the Juche regime lately. I think they realize that economically, the ends will justify the means.
8
Lorem Ipsum another straw man. The RSK has an active military force with 3.5 million members.

Troll Ov Metal I'm not a neocon or even a Republican. I'm vehemently anti-intervention. All I'm saying is that if an invasion took place, the US military should have a very limited participation and we should not send ground troops in any Invasion or occupation efforts. Unfortunately you're too fucking stupid to realize the difference between warmongering and having a sane outlook on this purely theoretical situation.

Bill's Mortuary: You Stab'Em We Slab'Em! I am a White nationalist, for all intents and purposes. You think we all subscribe to groupthink like a pack of retarded Leftists? Varg is a welfare parasite and a pathological liar. He expects his LARPing fanbase to agree with him without critical evaluation. He is bitter and manipulative. And worst of all, he puts faith before blood and ostracizes and mocks Christian Europeans. EDIT: Oh, I forgot to mention something very important.... Varg is an ex-con and a murderer who killed his "friend" by stabbing him in the back 20-something times. Then he claimed it was "self defense." If he were an American, he'd still be rotting in prison if he didn't receive lethal injection. Instead, because he's a European, he's now a welfare parasite that lives in the middle of nowhere, making his kids shit in a bucket because he's waiting for "society to collapse." The guy is a POS that deserves to die.

9hundred Live I don't want a war. You're a fucking idiot to assume that I want to destroy the DPRK just because I consider it to be a threat. If we went around killing everyone that posed a threat to us, the world would be a chaotic slaughterhouse even more than it already is. This is all theoretical and I hope war is considered the absolute last resort. You stupid fucks with your lazy assumptions make me physically ill.

TheWolfsan FFS...yes troop involvement would be unavoidable. I'm not saying it wouldn't be to defend the DMZ and the RSK. I'm saying U.S. troops being involved in an invasion and/or an occupation would be disastrous. Styx said the same shit. Did you even watch the fucking video?

MonarchTherapsids Inostran actually Japan is 6th in the world in military spending, and has a top 10 ranked navy and air force. They are routinely ranked in the top 10 in the world in military strength, as is the RSK.

MDOY79 I agree with everything you said. I don't know why you disagree with me, but I'm guessing it's because you think I'm advocating for a conflict, which is not so. My OP was just what I think should theoretically occur if war and an invasion of the DPRK occurs. Kim is a threat. I don't think that is a question. That doesn't mean I want war.
2
@ Brent Ancap: I pretty much agree with everything you said. The Korean Question seems like it will inevitably lead to war to most people. "It cannot be overstated how much I distrust the MSM and the war machine. History shows us they will literally lie and manipulate ANYTHING to start a military conflict." Anyone with a brain that isn't a sociopath realizes this is the truth. I have less faith than you that this will be peacefully resolved, given the track record of the U.S. since WWII. I think that is why people are saying "well, if a war does commence, the U.S. should do x,y,and z...."

@ Eternal Battle14: USING ALL CAPS JUST MAKES YOU LOOK LIKE AN AUTISTIC PLEB. It really doesn't aid in getting your point across or being heard. It only stands out to the mentally retarded that get drawn to shiny things. Troll elsewhere, cuckoo.
2
@ Brent Ancap: I have a hard time believing every fucked up thing we know about the DPRK is propaganda. I always consider that possibility though, because I simply (and sadly) don't trust my own government at all. That being said, it isn't just the U.S. government that has painted Kim as a lunatic and a despot, or the people of the DPRK as brainwashed slaves. This is the most interesting part of what you just said "Even though we fully know that such an attack would be suicidal on Kim's part, we've been convinced by the MSM that he is so suicidal." That is correct. Anyone with a brain knows that dictators don't give up their power because giving up their power almost invariably means losing their own life. Kim would only strike if he felt like war, or possibly only his own defeat and demise, was imminent. He knows that if he launches a nuclear strike, it would seal his doom. That is why I consider his nuclear threats to be mostly posturing. But he is a threat all the same, and probably is more insane and sociopathic than you give him credit for.

H Wayne : Is that you, Jeff Zucker? Phil Griffin maybe?

Troll Ov Metal that's cool. Since North Korea is so benign and you're clearly not a big fan of this country, you should self deport, or at least go visit North Korea. Try not to break any laws over there, you might contract botulism as a result. P.S. you should totally have a picnic right at ground zero when they launch that "dick shaped piece of scrap metal" at someone.
2
Jebediah Springfield of course they're a threat. They have nukes and they've threatened to use them on several different nations. Styx used an apt metaphor: if a person with a knife is within range of you and threatens to kill you, at what point is it reasonable to strike? Obviously not all threats should be destroyed or preemptively struck, but to say that the DPRK is not a threat is retarded, quite frankly. They might not be enough of a threat for us to act, but they are most certainly a threat. The conflict in Korea could be defined as an active war already. No treaty was ever signed after the first war, only a ceasefire. I agree with you that they would be soundly defeated, but they might not give a fuck. They clearly have little regard for human life, even the lives of their own people. Also the majority of the population is unable to compare their strength to other nations because of their insularity. The Juche regime knows the capabilities of their enemies, but might very well be sociopathic enough to escalate the seemingly inevitable conclusion to the Korean conflict.

Israel is rouge and so is the DPRK. I wish they both didn't exist, tbh.
