@marcotrejo8572 Moreover, by most objective standards, European migrants improved the lands they settled, just as Rome improved upon the lands they conquered. Turning modern America into Guatemala would be an objective regression. So your comment is also illogical in that sense.

@marcotrejo8572 There was no country here before Europeans arrived. There were only tribes of scattered and disunited peoples and a couple of loose tribal confederations. There was no collective group of Native Americans that controlled a defined sovereign nation-state. Some Native American tribes did not even understand or acknowledge the concept of borders, private property or the nation-state. What you're saying is kind of like claiming that the Celtic tribes that were scattered across Europe in pre-Roman times constituted a nation of people who controlled a defined sovereign nation. Obviously, that isn't true, so your comment is false.
