  1. NHS nurse. Just retired after 35 (Working part time now because I have to, alas). Just watched the NHS get worse and worse, year after year. The ‘clapping affair’ was the final insult. Voted to strike.

  6.  @siogbeagbideach  I’m one of those (possibly sad:) people who likes my dog more than I do a lot of people. I realise not everyone is like that. And the others are wrong :)!

The Ukrainians are very worried that Trump will get in next year and pull the plug on their defence of the country in terms of support and probably force them into a disadvantageous peace with Putin. (Remember the water bed anyone!) Anyway, Ukrainians are trying to up the ante so they can be in as strong a position as possible to negotiate with Putin if it comes to that.
